Finding Roommates

If you are an individual seeking roommates for the upcoming year, please complete your Housing Application, and then consider one of the steps below.

1. If you would like assistance in finding a roommate(s),please complete the Roommate Seeking Form to be added to the Roommate Seeking email distribution list.
2. If you do not want to search for roommates and prefer instead to evaluate open bed options and/or be placed in a room by Residence Life after Housing Selection, please call 401.865.2392 or email Kevin Hillery, Associate Director of Housing at khillery@providence.edu. Please note, a staff member of from the Office of Residence Life and housing will be in touch after housing selection to set up an appointment and discuss options. Please note, every year the Office of Residence Life places many students after the advertised housing selection dates.

Some students have had success finding roommates using the “Housing” message board on the PC Mobile app. While the Office of Residence Life has no involvement with this platform, it is an option for students to consider.
