Returning Students – Welcome Back to Friartown!
All students returning to Providence College are scheduled to move onto campus Sunday, August 27, 2023 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. The Office of Residence Life & Housing will allow a limited number of students to voluntarily arrive on Saturday, August 26. Students must notify the Office of Residence Life & Housing of their intention to arrive on Saturday by completing the Saturday 8/26 Early Arrival Intention form available on the left hand side of their eRezLife account. This form is open on a first come first serve basis and will close once we have reached capacity for Saturday move in. Students should now wait for a confirmation to receive approval for their request. Please do not arrive outside your scheduled move-in day as we may not be able to accommodate you.

New This Year – Early Drop-Off Days! (Now Full)
We are pleased to be offering students and families the option to drop off their belongings in their room, suite, or apartment during Early Drop-Off Days.* Early Drop-Off Days are scheduled for Saturday, August 19 and Sunday, August 20 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. The Early Drop Off sign up form is now closed.
Students and families participating in early drop off days should enter campus through the Huxley Gate (GPS address 240 Huxley Avenue).
Students participating in Early Drop-Off Days are expected to move the majority of their belongings into their room on that day. They will be directed to not wait in the move-in queuing lines on move-in days and will be instructed to go directly to a parking area and walk from the parking area to their building. Students should bring with them on move-in day only what they can reasonably carry to their buildings from a parking area. More information and directions will be provided to students who sign up in early August.
*The Early Drop-Off option is not currently available to students living in college-owned houses (formerly known as hybrid houses) or St. Joseph Hall due to planned maintenance and renovation projects.
